環境方針
環境・健康および安全に関する問題は、サンドビックの経営全般において不可欠な部分です。絶え間ない進歩は、目的を持った経営によって達成されます。
私たちは、「最良の結果は、予防処置を通して達成される」と考えます。

私たちは、長期に継続可能な発展をもたらす手法に従います。よって私たちは、省エネルギー・省資源に努め、材料･原料の回収･リサイクル活動を促進し、汚染を予防し最小限に抑えるよう努めます。

私たちは、社員が、「効果的に活動し、責任を自覚し、公私にわたって成長し続ける」　そんな意欲を持てる労働環境を提供することに努めます。

私たちは、関連法規・法令や国際協定で決められた環境要求事項を遵守または優先します。
私たちは、共通の環境要求事項や基準は、世界的なレベルで確立されるべきであると考えます。

実施細目として、

 私たちは、長寿命で高品質な、再利用可能な製品を提供し、より良い地球環境に貢献します。
 私たちは、人類や環境に有害とみなされる物質の使用に関する注意事項の原則を適用します。
 私たちは、活動が必要な地域を特定するために、リスク･アセスメント（危険度査定）を実施します。
 私たちは、製品開発・工程開発において環境・健康・安全を考慮します。
 私たちは、取引先に対してもサンドビックの環境方針に適応した経営方針を採用するよう、奨励します。
 私たちは、顧客の環境目標に貢献できる製品を提供します。
 私たちは、サンドビックの環境に対する取り組みを公開し、対外的な影響に対し責任を持ちます。
 私たちは、この方針に示された要求事項に適合するために、必要な資産と知識を社員に提供します。

Environmental policy and code of conduct

Environmental policy

Matters pertaining to the environment, health and safety are an integral part of Sandvik’s total operations. Continuous improvements are achieved in these areas through management by objectives.
We consider that the greatest effect is achieved through preventive action.

We adhere to an approach that results in long-term sustainable development. Consequently, we strive for high efficiency in the use of energy and natural resources, promote systems for recovery and recycling of materials and work to prevent and minimize contamination.

We strive to offer working conditions that stimulate employees to perform effectively, assume responsibility and continue to develop in their personal and professional pursuits.

We shall comply with or exceed environmental requirements set by applicable laws, ordinances and international agreements.

We consider that common and environmentally effective requirements and standards should be established at an international level.


This means that:

ｷ We strive to contribute to a better global environment by supplying recyclable products with long life and superior properties
ｷ We shall apply a principle of caution with regard to the use of substances considered hazardous to humans and the environment.
ｷ We shall conduct risk assessments to identify areas in which action is needed
ｷ We shall consider the environment, health and safety in product and process development
ｷ We shall encourage suppliers to adopt principles in their operations that are compatible with Sandvik's environmental policy
ｷ We shall provide products that assist our customers in achieving their environmental goals
ｷ We shall be open, provide information about Sandvik's environmental efforts and be responsive to changes occurring externally
ｷ We shall provide our employees with the resources and the knowledge necessary to comply with the requirements expressed in this policy
